Why should we know what caused the coldest winters in Europe 1939/40, 1940/41 and 1941/42 after a period of more than 100 years? Why were the autumn months of 1939 in the USA the driest on record? Why did global temperatures started to decrease in winter 1939/40 for four decades until the end of the 1970s? Many unanswered questions. The most convincing contribution is Arnd’s naval war thesis, and I am happy, that I discovered the material on the internet, e.g. http://www.oceanclimate.de ;  http://www.1ocean-1climate.com , otherwise I wouldn’t even know that the climate change debate is ignoring important climatic aspects.</description>
