Chris Mooney Causes Radio Station to Fold

Posted on | September 29, 2006 | 3 Comments

Yesterday afternoon, Chris Mooney swung through town on a book tour visit, including a talk radio appearance. Today comes news that KAGM is being shut down, replaced with an all-Spanish music format of some kind.

It would be a mistake, of course, to confuse correlation with causation.

KAGM is not the only one being shut down, too many stations are being replaced with an all-Spanish music format of some kind…

Psychic Ana was once on Talk 106.3 FM’s predecessor, Wild 106.3 FM. Then, that station went bust.

Funny part is, Ana had recently just gotten back on 106.3 with Larry Ahrens, when THAT station also went bust.

I think Ana’s the camel that broke the straw’s back!
