The prairie flowers just up the Interstate here in the Front Range are exxxxxploding out of the ground in a riot of color. The road rides lately are particularly enjoyable, even if I have to use a triple.

How wet has it been there?
We’re actually a bit below normal for the season, John, but just south of CO Springs to ~your border they’re way above. We had all that snow for the soil moisture bank & that has been the difference. Your garden looks pretty good this year too!
